Jars Global receives, stewards, and distributes God's provision — meeting local needs and fueling global mission outreach, just as the widow's jars overflowed in 2 Kings 4.
"She came and told the man of God, and he said, 'Go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons live on the rest.'" — 2 Kings 4:7
Jars Global draws its name and vision from 2 Kings 4 — the story of a widow in debt who came to the prophet Elisha. He instructed her to gather as many jars as she could from her neighbors. God then poured oil into every jar she had collected, filling each one to capacity. She sold the oil, paid her debts, and provided for her family.
Like those jars, Jars Global exists to receive the generosity of donors, steward it with accountability and transparency, and distribute it where God's provision is most needed — locally and globally.
Our mission is twofold: to meet domestic needs as the Bible commands — caring for widows, orphans, and those in hardship — and to support evangelism and mission outreach, including missionaries and ministry endeavors around the world.
Jars Global is governed by an interdenominational board of committed leaders united by a shared vision for local charity and global mission.
